Regardless of setting or context, my first question is, and will always be:

Whose future is this?

I work with my clients to develop future-ready strategies through a relational understanding of our past, present, and future. Specializing in decolonizing futures and Indigenous research methods, I draw on my formal and informal education and lived experience to imagine inclusive and equitable futures with clients and identify choices that can be made today to move towards a shared vision for tomorrow.

Focus Areas

Strategy

Blending futures studies and design thinking to assess and develop organizational strategies that are innovative, future-ready, and values-centred. My facilitated approach draws creativity from all levels of the organization and encourages full participation throughout the process to design and iterate effective strategies.

Research

I help clients understand their most pressing challenges through a human-centred research process. I use a multidisciplinary approach and an equity-informed lens to help my clients reframe their questions, uncover root causes, and develop shared understandings based on evidence and experiential insights.

Training

Building internal organizational foresight capacities through co-creative, participatory workshops and training sessions. I offer a range of workshops to help my clients understand foundational future studies concepts, methodologies, and how strategic foresight practices build resilient, adaptable organizations.

As a Métis woman residing in what is currently known as Calgary, I acknowledge the ancestral home, cultures and teachings of the Treaty 7 signatories, including the Siksika Nation, Piikani Nation, the Îethka Stoney Nakoda Nation, consisting of the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Good Stoney Bands, and the Tsuut’ina Nation. I recognize this land as the homeland of the historic Northwest Mètis and present-day Otipemisiwak Mètis Government. I acknowledge my ancestors who have brought me to this place, whose resilience and resistance will reverberate into the future to strengthen our collective descendants. Indigenous Peoples across Turtle Island are the original stewards of this land and continue to do the vital work of ensuring our shared future and safety here on Mother Earth.
